Practical benefits and trade-offs
These are buying considerations inferred from the layout and stated features, not conclusions from testing.
Reasons to consider it
- The compact footprint may fit a desk where a full-size keyboard crowds the mouse.
- Round keycaps and dedicated emoji controls offer a distinct layout and appearance.
Reasons to look closer
- The compact arrangement does not provide a full-size dedicated number pad.
- Round keycaps may require an adjustment period if your muscle memory comes from conventional square keys.
Is this the right type of keyboard for you?
Think about typing habits before choosing a board primarily for its look. If your day involves frequent numeric entry, compare the MX Keys S layout. If you want to customize switches and keycaps as a hobby, investigate a board explicitly designed for that purpose. We have not measured comfort, sound, or typing accuracy on POP Keys.
For a different option, read the Logitech MX Keys S overview, or use our keyboard buying guide to choose a layout and connection.
Check the exact listing before buying
Confirm POP Keys rather than POP Icon Keys, which is a different keyboard. Check regional layout, software requirements for customized shortcuts, and operating-system support for the emoji controls. Do not assume every function works identically on a phone, tablet, and desktop.
